Is your Aesthetics Provider really doing what is best for you?

Aesthetics is an evolving field with the development of many procedures. This is exciting but it can be difficult for patients to understand. What does this mean? It can be confusing for patients to understand which procedure is most effective for them. As a provider, this is very exciting because it enables me to have with various options for my patients. Our goal is to bring out the best in all ages at Higher Self Aesthetics. With the development of Regenerative Aesthetics, we can provide this service to all of our patients. As a carpenter has “many tools in their aprons”, aesthetic providers have “many tools in their aprons”. Now with this being said, these advances in aesthetics still have a long way to go. We provide services to patients with every intent that they will work. Well, sometimes they don’t. That is part of the advancements in aesthetics. There are no guarantees. As a provider, we do the research, we believe that “this or that” procedure will work, but at times, it may not. Whether its the procedure, poor skin quality of the patient etc……I feel it is important that patients understand this concept. Sometimes patients feel a procedure is ineffective because it didn’t work for them. That may be the case. Or it may be that you need more than one procedure to get the full effect. As we continue our research, we will be able to “fine tune” which procedures work for which patients or which procedures need more research. We need to think of this like we think of traditional medicine, as we have advances in medicine, sometimes they do not “work”, the same goes with advances in aesthetics.
