“Botox” is the BRAND name of a Neurotoxin/Tox that is used to smoothen the appearance of wrinkles. Dysport, Jeuveau & Xeomin are the COMPETITORS to “Botox”. Dysport, Jeuveau, Botox & Xeomin are Neurotoxins/Tox.
So is the following a correct statement “Hey I need to get some Botox?” NO!
By saying this, you are just marketing the company “Botox” for free! The correct saying is “Hey I need to get some Neurotoxin/Tox”.
Moral of the story, let’s stop marketing companies for free. In addition to this, it is important to know exactly which Neurotoxin/Tox you have received in the past and whether it has worked or not. Having this information is very important because your provider will know which other Neurotoxin/Tox to use (or not use)!
